Thank you for shopping Chloe Toes Boutique. It is our goal to ensure that all of our customers are satisfied with our products and service. If you have questions or concerns prior to placing an order, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our store policies are as follows.
Return Policy
Diapers and Covers
New, first-quality diapers and covers may be exchanged or returned for a cash refund or store credit for up to 30 days after date of purchase. Returned items must be in NEW, unused, unwashed, unworn, undamaged condition. Items that have been washed or worn, or which are not in resaleable-as-new condition cannot be returned or exchanged.
Returned items must be postmarked within 30 days of the original date of purchase from our store to be eligible for a full money-back refund. Items returned later than 30 days beyond purchase date will be issued a store credit minus a 15% restocking fee. We are not responsible for postage for returned or exchanged items and do not refund original postage costs on first-quality items unless they are being returned due to a flaw (see below). Items returned for COD or with postage due will be automatically returned to sender. You will be billed for shipping on exchange items.
If a flaw is discovered in an item that was sold as first quality, we will exchange it for you at no cost, including return postage. If an identical item is not available, we will offer you the option of choosing a similar replacement product or will grant a store credit. Items must be in NEW, unused, unwashed, unworn, undamaged (other than the identified flaw) condition to qualify for exchange or full store credit. If you think you are eligible for a product replacement, please email us first, so that we can review the information to determine if the product qualifies for replacement. We will not automatically replace items returned to us without prior approval.
We strive to ensure high quality in all our products, but we recognize that occasionally a problem may arise. If, within the first three months of normal use, a product develops a flaw, we will repair or replace it free of charge. The option to repair or to replace an item is at our discretion. We are not responsible for damage to items caused by improper care or normal wear and tear of the product materials! We reserve the right to refuse to repair or replace items that appear to have been misused, abused or cared for improperly. Please be aware that normal fading, wear and staining are not considered flaws. Also, we cannot accept responsibility for moisture-repelling problems if they should develop, as these problems are due to laundering practices.
We select the best quality materials available to us, including fleeces and wicking fabrics by Malden Mills, Alova brand suedecloth, knits by Healthtex, OshKosh, Painting Red Rhinos, Nick and Nora, Wondies and Carters, high quality flannels, velours and sherpas, as well as hemp/cotton and bamboo/cotton blends. All fabrics are pre-washed at least once (sometimes as many as three times) to remove natural oils, sizing, factory pretreatments and shop dirt, as well as to preshrink them prior to cutting so that diapers do not shrink or distort in the wash. Please note that pre-washed fabrics will show some light signs of having been laundered (such as mild pilling) but that these changes in no way indicate that the product has been used. They are simply the result of normal pre-washing.
Second-quality and used items may not be returned or exchanged. We make every effort to accurately describe the condition of items and to provide photographs of any visible flaws. Please read the descriptions carefully when purchasing these products as all sales of second-quality and used items are final. If you have questions, please email us prior to making your purchase.
Sewing Patterns and Notions
Due to the nature of sewing patterns, they are not eligible for return or exchange. If you discover a flaw or missing element in one of our patterns which makes the pattern unusable, please notify us and we will correct the problem. If you have difficulties with sewing or with sizing, please email us and we will attempt to help you. We are not, however, responsible for the individual results obtained using our patterns or the costs or materials involved.
Sewing notions and fabrics are not eligible for return or exchange unless a flaw is noted. We are not responsible for problems that may occur due to improper care of materials.
Privacy and Security
Your privacy is important to us. We will not share your name, email or any personal information with anyone. All of our credit card transactions are handled securely by Paypal. (You do not need to have a Paypal account to pay by credit card through Paypal. See our Payment instructions.)<.) If you choose to pay by credit card, Paypal provides for secure credit card processing. You will not be required to send your credit card information to our store.
